Has anyone done this upgrade? I saw that member Tricon had done the 4.2" to 8". I have the the 2.3" cluster. If so, details please.

A junk yard is going to be your best bet. They are about $800 plus a $300 core charge from the dealer.

 

On so new of a model, junk yard might be difficult to locate one. Wonder why a core on brand new part?

 

They want to keep the old ones out the hands of aftermarket rebuilders & resellers, and especially counter fitters that will try to repackage them and pass them off as new OEM parts.


Temp control went haywire on our oven recently - stupid thing even had a procedure to get the error code and diagnose the issue - a bad control board. Whirlpool put $100 core charge on the bad board.......
