F450 or Dually Tire Rotation????
Hello all, Do you guys rotate your tires on the duallys, if so and how?? I had mine done before a big trip recently tire shop was busy and the guy said he would just cross rotate (left to right) i was under the impression this was always a no no but he assured me that it was fine. Now since the tires are rotated and only after the rotation, i have a pull to the left. Have i screwed the pooch letting him rotate that way instead of dismounting. There is no way its out of alignment, when i drove the truck to the shop it was fine when i left it was pulling, the pulling has gotten less with drive time on the tires but i cant get this feeling out of my head that i shouldnt have let them do it, and hope it hasnt damaged the tires. Any input is appreciated.

On on my Dually I rotate the front 2 at 3000 & 7000 miles and generally never again and I get great life out of them.

I wondered about the set in them, it still has a slight pull left after about 1800 miles.....would it benefit me to switch the fronts back too there original side or would i be starting all over again ????? do these tires on the 450 fronts (stock so far) cup and get noisy ???????

i would would leave the rears alone at this time.
cupping generally comes from a bad or weak shock.
Those tires tires should give good miles and service for you..

Another reminder from the Owner's Manual:
On vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels, retighten the wheel lug nuts to the specified torque at 100 miles (160 kilometers), and again at 500 miles (800 kilometers) of new vehicle operation and after any wheel disturbance (such as tire rotation, changing a flat tire, wheel removal).
Also...
If your vehicle seems to pull to one side when you’re driving, the wheels may be out of alignment. Have an authorized dealer check the wheel alignment periodically.

I do my dually the same as I did on the big rigs, leave the drive tires alone, swap the steer tires side to side @7500 miles (big rigs I did @ 10000).
On my ‘16 F350 I could have laid a straight edge across them yet @ 50,000 mi. And they had probably another 20,000 left in them when I traded.
