XLT Upgrades - Leather Steering Wheel, Trailer Hook Up Light

Hey, it's better to be safe than sorry. Those bags aren't cheap. But there's no capacitors in the loop so as soon as you kill power you are safe to take em out.

I stupidly ordered the KR one on accident. Hated how skinny it was and it didnt have all the molded grips like the XLT. Sent it back and now I'm trying to sort out what I need to do to get the Raptor wheel in there. Think it might just be clockspring and wheel.

We may not agree on asthetics, but one thing is certain: gray will hide more dirt and scuffs, and it will look nicer longer. I say this after 15 years in gray interior trimmed vehicles (mine and wife's). I always got complements on how nice my trucks looked on the inside and few believed how old my vehicles were. Now, to be sure, I take extremely good care of my vehicles, but gray was already an 80% solution and made the remaining upkeep very easy.
That tan three years from now would look like an old worn out gym sock. Dingy and showing every minute of it's age.
P.S. Now I have black leather and I HATE IT! It shows every scuff and speck of dirt and dust. Winters, are especially trying to my soul. Kids track in mountains of salt and mud.
But I digress... off the soapbox. For now.

Ordered mine last week and received it a few days later. No talk of back orders at this point.

I have an Mercedes SUV from 2003 with light tan leather interior. The leather does show signs or wear for sure, however I think from my empirical evidence that light (be it gray or tan) shades of leather visually accept the aging process better.

Ordered some parts today for my truck. I got the Lariat steering wheel, 2wd front valance and the tailgate damper that will be ready for pickup tomorrow from my local ford dealer. They price matched tasca which was the lowest I could find online right now, under $300 for all of that.

I was surprised because everytime I have asked them to match in the past they said NO! That was me asking them to match FordParts.com and they still wouldn't so I am glad they are going to match Tasca. We will see if they stay true to this tomorrow when I go in to pay for the parts and pick them up. It is a nice bonus that I do not have to pay shipping on anything too as the front valance was $100 in shipping from Tasca so I was going to do without.
