I have two very good, probably NOS but not in a wrapper or box, wing vent frames that I am not sure what they go to. There is a piece of masking tape one that is written, "C8TZ-9721609A." This frame has a sharp angled corner to it.
But don't 67 to 72 wing vents have a rounded corner? I don't think it should be for a 73 to 79 either. Thanks!
The other one is not labeled but does have a more rounded corner. Is this one for a 67 o 72 truck?

C8TZ-9721609-A is the painted left vent frame for a 1968/77 Bronco.
1966/67: There was a painted version; 1967 also had a chrome version.
Neither is the same as 1968/77. The handles are specific to 1966/67 or to 1968/77.
1968/77 Bronco vent handles are the same as 1968/72 F100/750. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
1967 F100/750: The vent frame and the handles are 1967 only!
1968/72 F100/750 use different vent frames and handles.
1967's look the same as 1968/72's, but looks can be deceiving.
1967's have dozens of one year only parts that were not used on 1968/72's.
Thanks, Bill. I was just looking at my September issue of Vintage Truck and there is a nice Bronco in it and my old brain figured what I have just might be for a 68 bronco.
What about the frame that has the curved corner, anyone?
It's not 1967 F100/750, because '67's don't have that pivot bracket.
1968/72 F100/750 used a different pivot bracket than 1973/79 F100/880, but this vent frame could be from a car. In fact, it may not even be from a FoMoCo vehicle.
Trying to ID vent frames from FoMoCo parts catalog pics, can be a study in futility.
