Very nice work MPH. Right now would be the perfect time to add a cargo light that can double as an cyclops brake light. It might keep someone who's not paying attention from ruining your hard work.
Just my 2¢

Yeah I was thinking about doing that modification. I'll be researching how you guys did that when it comes time to reinstall my wiring harnesses.
MPH, that looks awesome! It’s been too cold here for me too apply ANY product to my hood. My garage is packed as well. I’m glad you have the opportunity to move forward.
How are you exhausting the paint fumes.
Got the interior masked off in order to paint hi-build primer surfacer on the body. Masking sucks, there must be and easier way. I'd like to make permanent templates for this somehow.
Got Buttercup in 3 coats of hi-build primer this week. Now the fun part starts...sanding! This 2 part hi-build primer doesn't seem to sand off like the primer/surfacers that I used decades ago. Is that normal? It seems hard glazed like epoxy primer.
What primer did you use? Primer/activator/hardner?
I used Omni mp 282 2k hi build primer surfacer with mp283 hardener. Got about half of the cab sanded down today with 320 grit. After that's done I'll do some spot puttying, spot spray with hi build and then sand it all again with 400 grit and then will hopefully be ready for final painting.
