I rigged up this pointer to record the exact position of the original cab mount. I slid the new one into the same position as the original one.

Had some additional weak, rusty areas.

Had to make this patch and bend accordingly.

Got portions of the cab sandblasted today, it's amazing how much better it looks with all that rust and old paint gone.

The firewall really cleaned up well.

Got the right side cut out, won't need to replace the cab mount on this side thank goodness.

Fantastic work on that floor. Also great job on making your own patch panels!

Finally got the other side floor pan welded in and ground smooth. I also seam sealed all the joints. Now to shoot some epoxy primer. New to me so I'm apprehensive.

Nice work, the seam sealer looks good. What did you use for the sealer?

Some stuff in a caulking tube I got from the local paint supply store. It was only about 10.00 per tube versus the 25.00 stuff from 3M.

looking up at the roof I see you have a couple of holes to patch. the po of my truck had an antenna or something mounted in the roof so I have a 1/2" hole to weld up also.

**edit** nevermind, I see those are running light holes in your roof. this is what reading threads with no sleep does
