Another new vehicle I was eyeing was the new Jeep pickup. There were "spy" photos that showed it towing a large trailer with a weight distributing hitch so it's supposed to have a tow capacity of 7,000+, just what I need for our camper so the Denali won't be needed.

Jamie and I had a quick discussion (as in she quickly shot it down) but I'm going to keep at her

The rumors are based on the 6 lug wheels and the size of trailer it was pulling in the picture. I'm skeptical too but if they pull off 7k+ I'll for sure be taking a close look at it.

I just need something to pull our 7k lb camper back and forth a couple miles from the storage to the lake, maybe pull a car trailer\Jeep if I ever end up getting one. Not sure where I'd keep it though....

you could load your camper on it and your jeep -- then you would only have one set of wheels touching the ground :-)

Thanks again for the folks who made it out (but we sure missed the ones who couldn't!)

It was a great time, amazing weather, and no "real" breakage. Just a yellow jeep speaking in clicks that we couldn't understand

It was a great time! We had an awesome time as well!

I lost a snap pin, but I have a spare, so will put it on when I get a chance. Other than that, I might have a slow leak in a tire, don't know which one.. perhaps that is where my snap pin went? LOL!

You know I'm always up for it! Getting it fit in with the rest of the family and the schedule is the hard part, but I'll try to get that worked in
