Fav/Least new features

expys/navis are fast approaching, less than 2 months and dealers are taking orders and putting up videos showing them off. Since its so close, what are you guys and gals favorite/least features or most anticipated feature or option for the vehicle. Maybe its a change to an existing thing on the current expy that you like or dont like. Below are mine:

Fav:
1. 2nd row flexibilty and space, power fold, tilt sliding seats crush the current models sec row seats(the most disappointing aspect of the current car bar interior design)
2. Exterior Looks, all the nods to the previous expys eith the current explorer and f150 design pieces to me make this truck extemely beautiful
3. New safety, expy has always neen one of the safest vehicles and now it retakes that montra
4. Wireless charging
5. Wi fi capability

Least:
1. Interior dash design should be more different than f150
2. No other engine options(2.7l for base and cost effective or 5.0 for traditional buyers)
3. Package layout-too linear and many options arent available without others or on too high a trim...this will most likely change after first my
4. Sync 3 touchscreen and front vehicle sensors not std on a 52k full size vehicle
5. Smaller fuel tanks, 24mpg est on a 28 to 33 gal tanks as on the current model would be amazing, the new ones have 25 to 30 gal tanks, almost 100 missed miles
Honorable Mention-wheel options, not enough choices

Coming from a 2001 to my 2016, 2nd seat legroom is DRASTICALLY reduced. But the engine power, mileage, and other features, just blow away my good old truck. Love the new Expy's.

The second row legroom on my 15EL is so small it is embarrassing.

Its pretty noticable now since most new smaller vehicles have such abundant rear seat room now. I also like the fact that the expy will be the only full size suv with the sliding tilting seats as well. I forgot to mention the handsfree liftgate addition as well.

Favorite: just the updated overall look and character. Finally looks modern! Aluminum body, new powertrain, new interior. It's all good.

Least: price, no diesel yet, I don't like the standard 4x4 set up with only a 2 high and 4x4 auto. It's basically selectable AWD. So you need to get the heavy duty towing package to make it a real 4x4. That's an extra $1600!

Oh! Forgot how much the back sucks for sleeping compared to my 2001. Huge, ridiculous spaces in between the 2nd row folded down seats and the rest of the back. If not for the engine this would probably have been a deal breaker for me.

I would agree on that crazy gap between the 2nd row folded seats and the rest of the floor. It sure would be nice to have a cover over that.

I don't know about the reduced 2nd row legroom of previous years, as the spec pages show it's a 0.2" INCREASE from early years to late years. The 06's had 38.9", while the 17's have 39.1" rear seat legroom numbers.

U called it. 2001 was also 38.9". Must be an optical illusion. What is not an illusion is space behind the third seat. Much less in 2017 than 2001. I can fit a 48 quart storage bin behind the 2001 3rd seat. About half that width in the 2017, even though it claims 18 cu ft while 2001 lists 12 cu ft behind 3rd seat.

The 3rd gen suvs have more 2nd row legroom spec wise but the seat is 2 low and flat, killing the room and comfort(most likely done for the flat folding mechanism cargo mode). Either way it's not as comfy or as spacious as i would like when i sit back dere, id rather sit in the 3rd row. Im pretty sure that the cargo space behind the 3rd row in the first gen expys is quoted as 20cu ft as well.
