discovered a puddle of diesel fuel underneath the fuel pump and on top of intake manifold. the banjo bolt was not very tight. the weep hole in the base of the fuel pump had fluid in it. Does the fuel pump need to be replaced?

 

Yes if it's leaking from the weep hole your going to need a new one.
