Since you have it all off, maybe the STC fitting upgrade

It has the upgraded stc fitting already.

I did add lifters to the list and the plastic clips on the rocker arms and injector retainers. As the ones I took out were torqued higher than the 24 ft lbs.

one other question since the injectors were just replaced less than 25 miles ago any reason to install new o rings and copper washer on them?

If the hold downs have been removed you have to because the coper washer is
a crush type seal. Also you want to get the coper washers for the head and the
fuel bowl. 2 for each banjo fitting and the banjo fitting on the bowl is not the
same size as the one for each head. If you can't find the copper seal then you can
heat them with a small torch and let them air cool so that they anneal. Don't quench
them. I use an uncoated TIG rod to hang them on when heating them nice and hot.

Not on your list is the intake manifold big O-ring that goes to the front cover.

Ok thanks will get the injector washers. Not on the list but I am getting the washers for the banjo bolts and fuel bowl. My guy at ford is getting me a kit that has most of the gaskets for this. and the o ring for the intake is in it he said.

No did not pull the motor doing it in cab.

I did this in 2011 thinking I was done. Then again in 2013 when I had diesel in the coolant. I really do hope this is the last time!! Or at least let me put 200-300 k on it.

I believe I would have to pull the motor to do the cam. And not interested on doing that.

yes the injector hold downs. You are right but Ford just put them in and they were way more than 25 lbs.

The torque requirement for the injector hold down is 24 lb-ft (I usually torque to 26) and the part number for the injector O-ring kit is part number 3C3Z-9229-AA at your local Ford dealer; you will need 8 of those- they are only a few dollars per pack.

Break-away torque is always higher then tensioning torque when installed due to the static friction of the surface under the head and the thread engagement.

Which is why if you're going to tension anything back to where it was taking a torque reading while removing isn't going to work. You can index the item to it's mating piece and retightens the two marks match (single thread of course, double thread is a 50/50).
