2001 f250 7.3 idling like it's going to run out of fuel

I have a 2001 f250 7.3. Recently started this problem idling at 1000 Rpms when stopped completely and when I let off the gas pedal it idles real funny like it's fixing to run out of fuel. It does not do this all the time however. At times it runs great. I had my mechanic scan it and at first it was the exhaust pressure sensor. Replaced it and it ran fine for awhile and it started doing again. Took it back in to get re scanned and it was throwing a bad ICM code. Replaced this as well and I'm still having the same problem. Had it scanned again and it's not throwing any codes now. I have no check engine light on and as long as I'm on the gas pedal it runs great. It's just when I roll up to stop or when I'm stopped completely. Again it does not do it all the time. Any help would be appreciated if anyone has ever had this issue. Thanks!

Might want to check out your throttle position sensor.

I have also heard fuel filter. Is that something it could be as well? The TPS was going to be our next step I just wanted to get a few opinions first

When it does this is it just at idle or at any RPM range? IE: starving for fuel at ~ 1/4 tank.
See Hutch/Harpoon mods.

The fuel filter is easy to replace. What does the fuel and sediment in the fuel bowl look like? While your fuel bowl cap is off and the bowl is drained how long does it take the fuel pump to fill the bowl with the key on and engine off?

Haven't checked it yet but it was replaced about 10,000 miles ago and it only does this when it's idling or when I let of the gas no matter the amount of fuel I have in it. Idles at about 1,000 rpm

A bad fuel pressure spring? Your idling way above normal which is 600-650 rpm. Have a chip on the truck?

No chip and no check engine light. Also it does it a lot but like I said not all the time. Other then that it runs great. Where is the fuel pressure spring located?
