No power until 20 mph, and black smoke
I'm 800 miles from home and my 2006 6.0L starts and idles fine, and cruises down the highway great. Smooth and no smoke unless I stomp the peddle down all the way.
However, when pulling away from a stop, it smokes black and accelerates real slow until I hit about 20-25 mph and then speeds up like normal to cruising speeds. Feels totally normal cruising between 55-70.
Not loosing any coolant at all 1400 miles into this trip, and smoke is black so don't think it's my EGR cooler.
Temps cruising today are oil: 205, coolant: 198, trans: 165. Air temps in mid 70's. Boost is around 8-10 when cruising 70 mph, and we're not towing anything. Forgot to look at it while accelerating.
Do you think I can make it from WI to TX without damaging anything?
