2000 F250 Steering front end Issue HELP
Hello All,
I have a 2.5 inch lift with 35 inch tires and last week I had some issues with my steering it kind froze up and I got it to break and went to Less Schwab as the draglink tie rod end at the pitman arm was bad. They Replaced the Steering box, pitman arm and bad tie rod and it has been on the alignment rack but the steering still feels weird. They have shaken down the whole front end and the only play now is the Passenger side Upper Ball Joint but it is still does not need replacing according to them. My issue is that when I dive it, it pulls to the left (I had them adjust the Camber) I try to compensate for it and then it starts to drift right. Then I have a hard time because it feels like it is swerving and I have a hard time driving down the road. In fact I was just pulled over because they thought I was drunk(cop was cool). Does anyone have any ideas? I have to take it back to Schwab to have them fix the clock spring but it has been on there three times all day since they replaced the box. and I have to say the steering is very touchy.

2.5" lift is borderline. Anything above that needs a drop pitman arm. Check the geometry of your steering. Perhaps you need one too.
And just because parts were replaced, does not mean they are good. Get under the truck while someone turns the wheel and check for play in the gearbox shaft, pitman arm wiggling under pressure, links not moving correctly, etc. Also check your steering stabilizer (assuming 4wd)
