I've had more fraudulent charges on my USAA card in the last 2 years than I've had with my Cabelas card(pre-BassPro/Capitol One) in the last 20.

The USAA is typically a backup, but they have always refunded the charges.

Like everyone said, be nice till it's not time to be nice. Have a pen and paper handy for conversations, write their names down. Ask for their personnel number. If you don't get anywhere with the rank and file, ask for a supervisor or manager.

My father was a machinist for Westinghouse. Several years before he retired he had a project on the bearing journals for the polar axis on the 200 inch telescope at Mt. Palomar. 200 tons "chucked up" in his lathe.

Well, I bought a new EBP sensor and opted not to buy a new tube at the same time. The last time I cleaned it, it was in good shape. It’s a good thing I didn’t buy a new one because then I could have put everything back together today. I disconnected the top first and it just fell off...
I thought my mileage dropped but figured it was the 4.10’s then figured I might as well get new sensor. I should have just bought the tube …

I’ve been in Colorado all of 3 hours and have seen more Excursions than I see in a month back home. Also a lot of F250/350. Guess I didn’t see John’s when I got to the Springs

Been a nutso day. I'll update tomorrow. I'll just say Federal Reg "E" and USAA does not like it when you know your rights.

We all know how misery loves company...while I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems there I have had my share of trouble with USAA years ago to the point where I just use them enough that I can insure my snowmobiles only for the time that i ride them and they make that easy for me. I'm glad to hear it's not just me that has trouble with them, if you can understand that.

Sounds cool! Ft. Carson where they are holding the match?

I'd say FTE meet up but I'm scrambling for spare time right now as it is.

Match is at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. I’ll be here for another 9 days, so I might be able to break away one evening.

I guess we have been lucky since being with USAA for 20 years. We have nothing but good things to say about them and they have always been there for us when we needed them. Although, if the time ever came that we were burned by them, it would not take me long to move our funds and accounts to other institutions. Especially in the electronic age where everything can be done over my laptop and not standing in front of a bank teller.

The hardest part about changing banks today is getting all those automated payments switched over.
