The weather here in north GA has been great. Sleeping with the windows open and a nice cool breeze during the day. Headed to the beach in a few hours for the week and looking to have a good time at our favorite spot.

Have fun!

Hard work usually pays off, good to hear you are nearing the end of it.

Good choice on no HPx line, just not a good idea. You have plans for what you are going to use to clean the truck engine? I had great success with Simple Green and letting it soak after a healthy spray down. Then a low pressure hose rinse. I did have to get a few rolls of paper towels and get down in the valley quite a bit with some brake cleaner, but most things cleaned up well. The smaller parts around the engine bay saw a tooth brush bristle and quick rinse.

Corey at CNC makes some great stuff and is a stand up guy.
Yeah I usually use Simple Green and the low setting on my small power washer. I just stay away from the IDM and PCM side. I have done this for a few years and had good success. I'll also clean parts when I disassemble everything for the turbo work. I just did a deep cleaning last year, so it's really not bad. Just dust from the dirt roads and pastures have built up a little bit. I was looking down in the valley yesterday and was surprised to see that it wasn't all that dirty. I don't have any leaks though, so it probably has held up some form the last cleaning attack.

I guess I am also going to consider replacing the up-pipe donuts while I am back there and the turbo will be off. It doesn't leak now, so I am not sure I want to touch it LOL...I am looking forward to doing some business with Corey though. I keep hearing good things and I'll sure feel good about replacing those lines. I fear a blow out every time I am on a long trip because I know what a PITA they can be with those stupid snap connections.

So you're saying you're a Colt Ford and Earl Dibbles Jr. fan?

Removing the turbo may not involve actually "touching" the donuts, but you're surely gonna **** them off!

Just checking in. I did some work on the truck, some upgrades on the boat, got some pictures on the water and under the truck, and we endured a butt-ton of smoke. Pictures are coming when I feel like sitting at the computer instead of at the helm.

Very nice. I think I'm going to Brads saturday for some wrenchen. Would really like to see his truck with all the upgrades. I love it were your going. How's the smoke? Everything out by now? Use to go to Lake Tahoe quite a bit when I was young. Had neighbors move there. Had lots of fun camping and hiking in the back county.

Smoke situation in my neck of Ca. has been MUCH better the last few days but there are still fires burning in the area. I believe that the big one in Redding is almost 100% contained but still has hot spots in the burn areas.
