Uneventful day compared to the last 3

Taking a hike, momma n youngest daughter taking pix and bringing up the rear

Truck was a flawless. Well, other than only getting 10.4 mpg towing the 5er, but it was quite a hilly drive. Usually stayed/kept it in 4th, sometimes 5th. Need to get some CNC hpop hoses, originals age is starting to make me nervous

HOW? Please tell! The never ending window has made reading threads like this one impossible. I can only look at the very last post in a thread cause if I roll the mouse wheel at all it seems to fly by to some random spot. I hit this post completely randomly.

There used to be a thread on it up top but it looks like it's expired. User CP:Settings:Edit Options:Infinite Scroll On/Off

10.4 is pretty darn good towing Wes! I wouldn't be disappointed at all with that.

Thanks Walleye. I looked there but didn't notice it at first. My big complaint is that links from an email notification - yours in this case - would send me to your post in the thread, but then as the rest of the posts and images above it loaded it would almost immediately scroll away and I could never find it.

10.4 MPG is pretty good when towing through hills and what not.

As for turning off forum features...

Go to User CP>Edit Options>Thread Display Options header

There you will find everything you are asking about.

Long day here. Hoping it's just the pair of shoes I wore today, clutch pedal felt buttery smooth and I swear it felt like it took 15-20% less effort than normal. Doubt I'd have time off to change the clutch before the cross county trip

Hmmmm, so the pedal felt easier? How is the engagement? I can say that a clutch job on these trucks is really pretty simple. I had mine done in 8 hours with a jack and some help. That was with taking our time and beer in between. Don't leave if you are unsure. A bad clutch when towing is a NIGHTMARE....ask me how I know....

Good luck on your next chapter Sous. Enjoy it before you get to old or to many problems. Been retired a while now but seems like either me or the wife has health problems any more. Wife has surgery on the 8th on June, hopefully we can go on vacation after that.

I retired to a full time job. Unfortunately an enlisted military pension does not go far in the greater San Diego area.

At least it's banker's hours (for the most part). No duty days, no shift work, no more qualifications/certifications, and best of all, no more deployments!
