After 3-4 hours on the smoker we'll see.

Wild turkeys are very good but the drumsticks are almost impossible to eat, they are so full of tough tendens.

Turkey hunting is something I miss....but haven't done it for ahwile.

Typical Mother's Day weekend here with rain and wind, and this after w week of 80 degree temps and lots of good work done. Looks like I'll be taking it easy tomorrow and huffing it on Sunday. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Sous, let us know how the new trailer comes along! Excited for you guys.

Trailer is in great condition, just going through and making it our own now. Changing table and chairs to dinette, installing fantastic fans, slide awnings, Goodyear Endurance tires, solar panels, other little things that will help make it our own.

We are very, very happy with the floorplan and size of the trailer and hope it does right by us for the next 10-15 years.

I used to think the same thing. A buddy watched me take the breast out of one and asked what are you going to do with the rest. I told him throw it away. He said that's a shame it looks like it would be good. He took legs and thighs and put it in a crockpot with Lipton onion soup mix, thyme, basil, rosemary, salt and pepper and let it cook about 8 hours. When we tried to take it out it literally fell off the bone. Had to grab the meat with tongs and it was delicious. Haven't thrown any away since. The tendons are still there but they pick right out.

Yup, this is how to do any meat that is tough. Crock pots fix many meats LOL

I saw this when we were watching the last season of Bosch. This is going to be great! have you any thoughts about the new jack Ryan series starting in August? That one looks to be pretty well done too.

As for Jack Ryan series it could go either way. We loved John Krasinski in the Office, but his other roles have been hit and miss in our opinion.

We are looking forward to it, but we just hope they are not playing it up too much and it is a flop.

Time will tell.

Yeah, we like John as well, but he is hit or miss. I guess we will see. I am a closet TV addict. There is just too much good TV these days. I scroll through our Amazon Prime stuff and just see how much time I don't have to watch everything. Thankfully it's just there when you want it.

Hey y’all what I miss? Hope you all have been doing well! Sous looks like you got a new RV, looks great. I can’t believe how everything greened up so quickly! Zach I drew a turkey archery tag for Beaver Creek Wildlife area, hoping to hit it hard this week. Looks like the Triax oil thread took on a new life, lol, from unbelievers to a few followers.
