A friend of mine's dad bought a Fury like that. Had a CHP package. They traded in the old Hillman Minx that required flooring the gas and popping the clutch to get to the top of the hill. The first time his mom drove the Fury she commented that it did not go any faster than the Minx, oblivious the the cloud of white smoke and two black stripes all the way to the top of the hill.

Don't forget the ones that think their boat is like a car, and it will just fire right up after sitting for a long time without prepping it for the season. Or... the ones that only now discover they should have winterized the boat better before the big freeze. How about the ones that sit in a long line for the ramp, then get on the ramp - and only now decide to load the ice chest and family funware into the boat, pull the transom straps, install the drain plug, set the lines, etc.... It's that last one that really sets me off, instead of making me laugh.

Morning all. Ain't gonna lie, I'm exhuasted. Got a promotion 2 weeks ago, have to come in to train for my new position on my days off, yeah... we're scheduled 7 days a week on my current crew last week, trained my 2 days off, worked my current shift 3 nights in a row, train 2 nights that I would have been off. These 12 hour shifts are rough enough some times, let alone 14 in a row. N e ways venting over, time for a shower after getting home from work, & a nap b4 work again tonight. Keep em between the ditches

Hopefully it'll let up soon for ya Wes. We are about to start calving season here, and then AI stuff for the summer,so wintertime lulls are about to come to an end.

Looks like a good time. How are the RV parks there? We stayed in one many moons ago, but it was closing the next year.

There's a few nice ones here. We usually stay at Lakewood campground but they don't allow you to bring your own golf cart. We're staying at Apache this week, it's an older more laid back campground. We're gonna start staying at Oceanlakes campground, so we can take ours, we just purchased it last August.

Working on mounting my fuel tank. Letting the oldest boy drill the holes in the bed.

Need to get a few more hose clamps and a grommet . Ran 5/16 steel line with just 2 short pieces of hose .

Filler neck tie in.

Daughter, Son in Law, and grandkids back from Montana. Calves tagged, branded, banded and inoculated. No injuries to stock or folks. No equipment destroyed. Lots of snow, ice, and mud. A great experience for the new generation!

Meanwhile, I found a neighbors horses out on the highway (back here in the sunbelt of Colorado) and with the aid of a couple of other good ol' cowboys got his bucking stock back in the pasture. Doctored my daughter's lame mare (a high spirited Arabian, great horse but like all hot bloods full of courage and having no sense of self preservation) who has an affinity to pick battles with other mares that out weigh her by a couple hundred over a dang "proud cut" gelding!
Ahh... Springtime in the Rockies!

To you as well.

We are going to plant a 3 new crape myrtle trees on our property today to celebrate.

We spent many, many hours polished and cleaning the 5th wheel this weekend in order to make it look new as possible. We are firm believers in karma and when selling something we always try to pass it on to the next family in the best conditions we can. This method has done well for us so far as the favor has been returned to us. Simple things like taking up to date pictures and polishing the outside (even though it is taking a long time) make a world of difference to someone that just wants to hitch up and go camping.

Happy Easter everyone, enjoy the day!
