Keabler is starting off with a positive reputation.
My sons favorite thing to do! As soon as I open the door his little 15 month old legs sprint to the truck, followed by "upa upa, vroom vroom"

About 90% Eclipse here in Southern Oregon. It got pretty dark outside at the peak. Watched total on TV, that was cool. My sister drove from Texas to St Clair, MO to watch the total.

The eclipse was rather anticlimactic here in Birmingham.

I agree with the above comments. Even at 90% coverage I was a bit unimpressed. Although, like I said earlier when it went to 100%, it was amazing. I hope that some of you can see the next one.

I told a friend of mine that the roads and open spaces around here looked like a scene from the Walking Dead. There were people everywhere and I was very grateful that my family had a good viewing opportunity from our home instead of parked on the side of the road somewhere.

Hey Jim! How's things? Yeah, it was a let down here at the ranch too. It looked like you had sunglasses on for about 10 minutes at the peak, and then it was done.

Good morning, all! Hope your day is starting better than mine. I'm here at one of our client locations in SE TX with a dim view of morning time... it was so overcast when I walked out of the hotel at 6:30 a.m. that I thought, "Gosh, it looks like it's 8pm in the evening, and I'm heading in the wrong direction!"

Mornin'....it's iced coffee for me this morning because it has just been too dang hot! Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend. We are headed to the Nebraska State Fair, so that should be fun. I love fairs and the fair food you can't find anywhere else, like fried Oreos

They gotta be double stuffed Oreo's, so the lollipop stick will fit without popping them apart! State Fair is synonymous for "Everybody and their brother with a FryDaddy"

Arizona was OK for the month I was down there. God it was HOT. 113 to 120 every day, and the traffic. Think one day got down to 109, LOL. Was really happy to get up in northern Nevada and southern Oregon again. Damn bugs ate me up pretty good down there, was actually in northern Glendale area, lots of horse properties around there. Still healing on some of the bites a month or so later.
