Colorado has plenty to offer for trout fishing. I usually am fishing off the Arkansas River in some form or fashion.

I was going to take a picture, but when you order 2 large fries and a bacon cheeseburger with A1, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and extra cheese they know you aren't messing around.

I told my mom that the "little burger" was for amateurs, but she got one of them anyway. My wife thought it was funny I was giving my mom a hard time for ordering a little burger.

No pictures, other than the left over fries and drink, that burger didn't stand a chance. I love this country!

I do like 5 Guys. As far as fast food burger joints they are hard to beat. They have addictive fries. Luckily I never came up on a urinalysis list the day after eating there.

Their burgers are great right up until they smash them into wafers. I had to look up why it's so popular and apparently it is the 'Maillard Reaction' that takes place. Something to do with surface area, heat, crust, and amino acids. While I enjoy a good crust on my burger I love it nice and pink/red in the center for a large juicy bite no matter what science says!

On that note my family went to Red Robin last weekend. Not quite the definition of fast food but they make some tasty burgers. The fries aren't nearly as good as 5 Guys...but they are bottomless!

We do have our share of millenial foodie joints running around here that I haven't tried...Burgers & Brew, Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers, Bruski Burgers and Brew, Slater's 50/50 and the list goes on. The best burger I've had here, though, is Hodad's.

Truth be told the best burgers (in my opinion) are at craft breweries. Although, Five Guys is always ready to satisfy the need for a good burger. After traveling the world many times, a good cheeseburger with fries or onion rings and a cold craft beer is still my favorite meal.

Red Robin has excellent burgers too. The A1 peppercorn is my favorite there.

Sous I agree with you on the craft brewery burgers! There are a couple of them here in Florence (finally!) and they're excellent. One of them has a smokehouse burger with bacon and onion rings so good it will knock your socks right off.

I bought a boat this year, so I needed a camera that had powerful optics (30X Leica) and strong electronics for dealing with movement. When not bobbing wildly from jet skis, I might want a nice vista shot - requiring excellent color reproduction and very high resolution - like 4K video. I chose a Lumix ZS60, partly because of my excellent experiences with previous Lumix cameras. I use the viewfinder, but it also has this cool touchscreen to frame my shot.

Canon has a heavy contender, in that it has a crazy powerful zoom on the PowerShot SX530. As for what works for you, there are so many options available on cameras today - you need to isolate how you will commonly use the camera. Action cam? Pocket cam? Making a coffee table book?

pulled trigger on the SX530👍...bag, camera, couple lens, flsh...300.00

seriously. 5 Guys is good and my buddy and I usually go there before we hit the bar. It is a little pricey, though.

But, these days, you are going to spend $10 for a burger just about anywhere..... 5 Guys, Whataburger, Burger King, etc......

And for that reason, if you are going to spend that much, just go to Red Robin or Chili's if they are near by.

Still, there really only is one way to get an absolutely fantastic burger:

I remember Hodads! Has to be the one in OB though, after a morning of surfing or boogie boarding.

I like 5 Guys, Freddy's too, but for fast food burgers gotta be In-N-Out. Showing my west coast bias...

There's a local place here in CO, Crave Burgers, much like a burger you'd get at a craft beer joint. They have some good Adult milkshakes too.
edit
Some elk/bacon burgers I smoked a couple weeks ago, forgot an after pic.

Had to use my truck to return a tool to my in-laws today.

When it comes to burgers, nothing beats a hand made patty.

That is where the smaller mom & pop shops and craft places will always win.
