Hmm. Curious. I ran across the free parts thread and saw a pic of an intercooler.

Picture

Don't think that looks like mine, is this really a stock intercooler? May have to examine mine closer, pretty sure the end caps are gray. Curious what I've got

From that I assume you are Jewish? One of my friends back in the day when I worked at UC Berkeley was Jewish. We'd go out for lunch at La Val's northside and have pizza and a pitcher of Bud (she insisted, I relented) and check out the scenery walking by. She was lesbian and we had very similar tastes. Unfortunately she succumbed to Hep C, which is now curable. Rabah lives in my heart tho. I aspire to be Christian and we had some really great conversations.

Yeah that was as mine. Stock OEM intercooler from a 2002. Ample road grunge in the pic so coloration is subjective. The end caps are black. What year is yours?

Looks just like the one I pulled out of my '03 when I swapped to a 6.0 IC, including the grime.

My original had aluminum end caps.
I changed it out for a 6.0 IC with plastic tanks. That was a complete waste of time and money.

Go open the hood on your truck and smile at the brand spanking new performance engine a moment. That will make you feel better instantly.

If that doesn't work, whiskey can help sometimes.

I broke out the topside creeper and laid on top of the engine while sipping on Glenmorangie Lasanta. Dayquil/whisky interaction is a wonderful thing. WARNING: my posts from here on out may get even loopier than usual.

Cherries are about done packing for the year - time to get the boat out of the river to take it up to lake Chelan for some boat camping. Nothing says "decompress" like being out of cell range and having two days to sip adult beverages while floating in a fjord.

I couldn't agree more. Boating is the best decompress/relaxation I've found.

Looks great fellas!

We have been out on the paddleboards with our dogs everyday this week since arriving at the campsite on Monday.

We feel very fortunate and grateful to have water on our property at our home, but also because we are only a mile from the lake. We often take a few minutes on a trip into town to go and sit on the shore just to chill out a few minutes.

The lake does get busy during the holidays, but the locals know that it will turn into a paradise again in just a few days.

Buddy loves to give directions on the lake.

Morning lake view...

Kiva is still learning to be a paddleboard dog. She sees a fish!

What the picture doesn't show is the long *** hair going down a foot or so that I have tied up. I pull it back pretty tight which exposes my forehead more than I like. If I don't pull it back, then I look like Keanu Reeves in John Wick, but I have longer hair.

Frankly, I hate the long hair, but after 22 years if being told to keep my hair short I cannot bring myself to cut it quite yet.
