Today was a busy day at the house!
Since getting home and mowing the lawn and doing the post-trip inspection on the truck, I took some time to do some customizing of the trailer and then a couple of hours to make some progress on building the library for my wife.
We have a room that is in the shape of a hexagon at our house that we turned into a library. I am in the process of building built in shelves that are abstract around the room for her to store her thousands of books. I also made the door a built in looking bookshelf from the outside that opens the door by pulling a book on the shelf which raises a lever to go into the room. Pretty cool to see it coming to fruition...
Did a bit of yard work again today as well and now I am building my tool list for the impending E-brake and axle seal replacement job next week.
So glad to be back in sunny and peaceful north GA!
Just about done for the day, so cold beer is on the menu before dinner!
Have a great evening everyone!

In addition, if you EVER start to feel that your 7.3 is a money pit, check out this guy on YouTube!
https://www.youtube.com/user/pbeu135/videos
He is a bit of a goofy guy, but does a great job at detailing the issues he is and does work on. Most of his videos are 6.7 related, but some are 7.3 related, that is how I found him.
So much shotty work done on the 6.7 that it makes me cringe. The 6.7 engine core might be a great design that is rock solid, but no way in hell I would trade my 7.3 for a 6.7...

Wesley, ask about a 99% clear UV resistant tint for the windshield. I had that done on my truck 3ish years ago and it did wonders for keeping the heat down in the cab. I paid ~$75 at the time for the windshield be tinted with the UV resistant (nearly clear) tint and here in GA and throughout the south it is great to have.

The square one is great!
I have said many times since I retired that I have NO IDEA how I got all of this crap done while working 12 hours a day.
Now though, I have a good buzz going and it is 4:45 on a Thursday. Burgers are seasoned for dinner tomorrow and we are listening to the GA whispering pines as the wind blows over the pond 50 ft from where I am sitting now.
Enjoy every moment of life you can my friends, tomorrow is not guaranteed!

...speaking of Georgia...was north bound on I75 two days ago heading into Atlanta at around 2:30pm when I had a front caliper lock up in 3 lane traffic in Stockbridge. Had my wife's 2000 Excursion and was followed by my Dad and his 16 F450, both towing. Started shaking the wheel and dragging hard. Limped it to a Waffle House parking lot. Unhooked the F450 and found an Advanced Auto .6mi away. $186 and an hour later it was fixed. Damn rust, lol.

We have been on that stretch of road many, many times. We used to live in Warner Robins when I was stationed down there. We had to rent the home out when we were stationed at another location in 2010. After driving through Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, etc... I feel that Atlanta I-85, I-75 and I-285 are not that bad.
