Was that a Toyota in the picture? He was just following instructions with your "Toys go here" receiver insert. That reminds me of "The Walking Dead" when the zombies mindlessly walk into the spears set as traps.
Maybe we should put marks on our fenders for number of cars sent to the wrecking yard. I have one for the drunk driver that hit/run rear-ended Stinky... while he was in a parking lot... on the edge of a hill... in front of a small tree... and I was having coffee in the restaurant. I got his plate, though.

Hope to give that Chevy back to my dad in the near future. Once I move into my house this weekend I'll be able to get back to work on my truck (haven't seen it for 5 weeks). I miss it!

When I was in Maine week before last, all the maples are turning and ranged green to yellow to orange to brilliant red, and with it being this early in the color change, generally all of those colors were on most trees at the same time! Beautiful!
My wife and I always take a long weekend somewhere further north than central AL in late October, but our trip this year will be postponed by a couple of weeks. I have an engineering conference in Norfolk in the second week of November, and we're driving up the first weekend, and then driving back down at the end of the second week through central VA and eastern TN. The peak color change will have passed, but there should still be plenty of color to see on both legs of the trip.

Leaves turning here in Southern Oregon, colder nights now ~40. Leaves will start falling in another month or so, arg. With all my trees and neighbors trees, wind always seems to blow in my direction, I usually get about (60) 30 gallon bags full. Fortunately we just put them out on the curb at designated times and the city will pick them up for free. When I was a kid we just raked them out in the street by the curb and the street sweepers would whisk them away, that was back in the good old days when gas was 35 cents a gallon.

WoooHooo! Morning All!
I got all the kitchen doors and drawer fronts installed this weekend... complete with all false drawer fronts and *****! Now, every time I walk into the kitchen, I feel like I'm in some vacation rental home! We've NEVER had a kitchen this nice in our 30+ years of marriage and home-owning.
I know... the absence of pictures suggests "it didn't happen"! Well, it DID happen, and pics WILL be coming. I did not take them last night because cabinet and drawer things were still on the counter tops, waiting for the cabinets and drawers to be vacuumed and relined and everything put away again. Nine PM last night was too late to start that process for either me or my wife! She's doing it all today, so if it's sunny enough when I get home this evening, I'll take pictures tonight and post the Before-After comparisons tomorrow.
I'm STOKED! This has been a 13-week process from the initial "oven cleaner drizzle" to last night. My wife and I have put in so many hours in doing everything ourselves (except for building the doors and drawer fronts), and we have been beyond tired and tired of it all for a good month now. As for uh-oh's... I almost drilled through one false drawer front on Saturday (the first one I installed), but it only cracked the surface paint and can easily be touched up... and I also had a couple of drill bit "slips" which left minor scratches on a few places, but those can be easily touched up as well. Otherwise, it all went in beautifully. It feels SO good to be on this side of it all where the only things left being just a few small tweaks and some minimal touch-up work.

Morning fellas! Nice to see you guys (Brian, Rich, Jim, and all others). It is FREEZING here in South Dakota. We are about to make a change though. It looks like we'll be going to the Texas Hill Country for the winter while I try to finish grad school. I had a wreck on a colt while working a cow about 3 weeks ago and as a result, fractured my pelvic bone. I won't be able to get on a horse for another 12 weeks. Because of that, my boss needed to find a replacement and I told him so. I can't do my job, and I do NOT want to be dead weight on a big cattle ranch. Sometimes things happen for a reason I guess . We were dreading the winter up here anyways, so maybe it's in the bigger plan for us to head back home where my wife is from. Once I get healed up, I'll start taking in a colt or two to ride while I get my Master's done....hopefully.
Anyhoo, didn't mean to get into all of that, but I am looking forward to the relocate so figured I would share. Congrats on the remodel completion F-250! I know that has gotta feel good. In the name of life change, I am drinking Texas Southern Pecan coffee this morning, cuz...why not? Have a great day everyone!

Looks great!
Close to the same color as my kitchen. Mine have been in since Jan '16. Watch out for wear on high points, where your hands might repeatedly grab the doors, etc. I haven't noticed anything yet, but it worries me. I have a few spots where the cabinet doors can hit other objects - I see one in your photo, where the upper right door could swing into the oven cabinet. I bought some of these clear stops at HomeDepot to protect the finish.
