I did not fall fellas LOL. I really need a crew cab. It has been apparent for awhile. Like any truck before, I will not sell unless I get asking price. It's too good of a truck to give away and I do not HAVE to sell. I always say it's just rubber and metal at the end of the day. This time, I have to heed my words LOL. My poor little 2 yo son has no room. My dog is cramped, my wife is cramped. It's time for a change.

Sooooo, great truck to someone....hopefully a fellow FTE brother.

Yeah Adam, it's getting to the point where we really need one. I HATE it. Nothing wrong with Ike at all. He is in his prime, but I have others to think about besides myself.....and NO, this is not my wife's doing LOL She likes him as much as me.

Hopefully he will go to a good home. But, I am not settling either. I can't believe I've had him for two years already.

Nice looking truck, Byron. I like the two tone green/tan, not to mention the laundry list of great mods/maintenance. I'm pretty sure I will be seeking a crew cab again when I can pull the trigger, but damn what you have is tempting. A flight down to San Diego and drive back to Seattle would be a fine adventure. I hope to buy from an FTE member when the time comes. Wish I would have sold my last rig to one - great to keep track of it and continue to share in the experiences as we work and learn together on our combined fleet.

No 6.0 for me Adam. I need less projects, not more...LOL I wouldn't mind one, but I don't have the time and commitment it takes right now to keep on on the road running as well as it needs to be.

Thanks bud. I hope it goes to an FTE member. If it is a member that is interested, I will try to help them out on price as much as I'm able. Come on down!! LOL....That would be a nice drive for sure.

Well that sucks, but I understand where you're coming from. I couldn't fit my family into an extra cab right now or for the last 11 years.

Oh, yeah, I added another blue oval to the herd this last week. Looks like I'll be venturing into another subforum. Hopefully they are as great as everyone here.

Nice Zach!! I am officially jealous LOL. We had those for work trucks when I was in Texas and they were nice.

Yeah, we were in the truck all day yesterday. I tie my Heeler in the back and he rides fine....until it started raining. But it is confirmed to me more and more how cramped we are. We can always just use the Kia and have the room, but we need the truck for other stuff and I am not always by myself. I just have to do something. It's not fair to the kiddos or my wife, though they don't complain. Not to mention this, but I think all the time what would happen if we were hit from behind by anything significant. The kiddos are so packed in back there and I just don't feel they are that safe. I am not a worrier by any means, but I have seen firsthand what can happen to kids in an extended cab in a major accident.

The only real bummer for me is that I am afraid I won't be able to find another ZF in the configuration that I need. I am trying to accept the fact that I may be going back to auto and I HATE autos....but I guess we won't be towing much this year and I have other things I need to focus on, so there is that.

Anyways, hopefully he goes to a good home. He needs nothing, so for the buyer it will just be taking care of and using him. Hopefully no ungodly lifts and all of that, but once he's out of sight, I have no control LOL.

So before i attempt it, since I've actually never read of it being done before, boost leak test (pause for effect) on the uppipes? In my head its the same concept as the pvc cap on post CCV turbo hose.

Remove EBP tube on passenger side manifold, attach fittings, remove 1/4" npt EGT probe on DS manifold, attach fittings, run 2 air hoses to 50g compressor set regulator to oh, 60psi, spray soapy water/simple green on manifold to uppipe connections, uppipe to collector, collector to turbine housing. Thoughts?

Shove in a potato

Figured I'd loose a lot, but how many psi does it really take to blow bubbles? Babies do it when they discover their lips. Have just at 100 miles since i changed pipes, not seeing soot, not sure how long it takes to see soot form

Just put your boost leak detector on the exhaust pipe. Run the pressure up to 10 or 15 pounds. That should get the job done without blowing your muffler apart.
