I said a very similar thing to my wife, but also said that we didn't have a Ferrari and we were not stopping to party.

Not the vacation we were planning and hoping for, but sometimes life does not cooperate.

Thanks for the well wishes.

A second day of light snow here (less than 3") but it's 30 with some rain added to the mix. Retirement is nice but it's nicer on days like this. I do enjoy driving in it though (yeah, I'm sick like that) so I may venture out to the grocery store and see what it's like.

Not the most grueling weather right now but definitely a little colder than what I would expect for my area this morning...

I see the problem. You need to sell that truck to me add I'll promise warmer weather in just a few weeks.

My wife would probably sell it to you pretty cheap to get it out of our driveway (and wallet)...but the tonneau cover is $25K extra.

Frost on my windshield and bed rails this morning too Brian. Truck said 31* while Wunderground said 46*. Needless to say that app went bye bye.

Wellllllll, that all changed yesterday evening. Had another cow go into labor. No problem, I'm going to keep an eye on her make sure things move along. Well, I see feet hanging out the rear through the water bag. Then it bursts and I see the feet, only they are facing the wrong way! Long story short had to get her up in a corral and tied off and pull the calf. Breech baby, thankfully and miraculously alive. Doing well this morning.

Congrats Zach! Yes, this is when intervention is needed. We had 375 calves on the ground by the end of June, but only had to interfere with two....one was breach and the other was just....well.....stuck LOL! Nice work though. The rest of our herd birthed just fine on their own, though I would saddle up and check the heifers every morning just to make sure we had no issues.

I've got 2 heifers that will be going into a corral at the end of Feb so I don't do any chasing. Thankfully, I think March will be better weather.
