Mystery solved, new one created

Got a package from some guy named Charlie Fish in AZ today Open it up and find brown packing paper around a styrofoam box

Curious

Lift the box to find the only other contents of the package, not even a packing slip/receipt
Hey... I think i know what this might be now

Yep, the drop in SXE turbine wheel i ordered when it was "in stock" on October 4th

Hmm, now when to schedule some quality garage time to swap this dude in. Well, after I order a turbo rebuild kit. Hmm, what else to do this time when i have it all torn down that far again.... kinda like the idea/peace of mind of billet plenums, but not the work involved, but I'll already be there..... But my stamped plenums don't leak..... yet......Maybe a 4" exhaust while the DP is disconnected, with the downpipe ceramic coated and wrapped? But then how do i establish a baseline comparison of just the difference from the wheel vs wheel and 4".... Ohh, how about new ceramic coated bellowed uppipes n baby butt, but my stock ones don't leak.... yet.... New boots to replace the clean originals? Hmm. Tell the wife they are leaking and losing boost/mileage? Water/meth injection? Ported housing? S&B?

Gahh! Curse you PMS and FTE idea givers

Damn, some of the individuals in the 99-2016 Forum are uptight SOB’s! I have a relatively long fuse but…

I always appreciate the pretty morning pics y'all post up, thought I'd share in the same vein. But instead of natural beauty, it is the grim condition of the corner of Berkeley, CA where I work. I could scarcely see the sun when it rose due to the smoke. Can you find it? I'll spare you pics of the hobo encampments around the corner.

I used to venture out to 3 or 4 different sections here at the FTE, but now I stay here at home. That is why I say "some FTE'rs are welcome to my home" because, well you get my point.

I believe that particular picture was taken before the 10 round max capacity magazines became law in Cali. I'm pretty sure that's my 13 round mag.

I'm in Panama City Beach working with some contractors on the hurricane relief. It's really hard to see tents in parking lots and know that people are sleeping out side in 34° F temperatures.
Total devastation.

I have read that the ban against current owners is on hold pending litigation (if I read it right).

This right here. Between the Ex forum and here, this is where I remain. I like you dudes and the no-nonsense approach to our discussions.

So we had this stupid little storm on the east coast yesterday, and a surprising amount of heavy wet snow in the afternoon, maybe 3-4". Around 5pm I went outside to yell at my 85 year old neighbor for shoveling his walk, and our other neighbor came over for the same reason. So first we try explaining to Jack that there's no reason to shovel anything since the temp is gonna climb to 47°F with heavy rain overnight, that and our 50+ year old butts are too lazy to do it and he's making us look bad. But he beat both of us when he showed us his shovel. It was an old plastic one, the kind that used to have the metal edge riveted on. Well, the metal edge broke off a decade or so ago, and he's since worn a good 4-5 inches off the rest of the blade. I wish I took a picture. He says every year the shovel gets shorter as he gets older, so the weight goes down and he doesn't worry about heart attacks. Since he wasn't gonna stop, I got to shovel my first snow this season...
Cheers all!

Happy 243rd to the US Marine Corps!

I forgot to post this last Saturday. The wife and I went to the local Marine Corps League annual birthday ball again with some friends and family. Always a good time, and I got my usual harassment for being the only Navy guy there. This time the oldest Marine (96 y/o, Battle of Saipan vet) was joined by his great grandson as the youngest Marine for the cake cutting.
Semper Fi Marines!

Semper Fi Marines. I’m was Army but I have several Navy and Marine friends and work with a few…The best smack talking, **** flinging would warrant an Oscar! . And none of them get their precious feelings hurt when you’re giving them a verbal bashing either! Everyone is so damn sensitive nowadays...

Its been a VERY interesting morning … I’ll give more information once these LEO’s are done talking with everyone. Yeah, not a fun time but interesting to say the least …

Should I turn on my scanner app and monitor El Paso county sheriff?
