You're a good neighbor! I'm not so patient if it's gonna get really hot later.

Noise avoidance regulations here, nothing noisy until 7:AM. Really sucked when trying to paint my house a few summers ago. Started at 5:30 AM to get a head start before the heat came. Only one neighbor behind me complained indicating his kids needed their rest. I told him to put them to bed earlier, thought we were going to do fists right then and there. To this day we don't talk.

I know people need to live in among each other for work or they just like it, but there is no way I could not live out in the country like I do.

I have a shooting range in my backyard.

I had a burn pile this morning with 20 ft flames on it burning debris from a storm.

Neighbors... Cannot see another house from mine.

Although, I am an introvert and like to keep to myself most of the time, so living out in the sticks is great for me.

Have to be and do what makes you happy though, at least we have the choice.

Wow. 5 days since the last post.

Too late for a morning greeting, so I'll just toss out a friendly "Good afternoon" to all of you.

Afternoon y'all.. Just finished up wiring a ground switch for the Pioneer radio so I can watch tv while on the road, plus, switched out the cracked fan blade for new. Keeping the old and welded the cracks. Think it'll work.... Now, joining my survival skills begging watching dual survival, lol Stack of dimes, haha

Good afternoon! I wasn't getting emails from the thread for a while. I guess maybe others weren't either.

I spent the day all day yesterday at the Dr.'s office. I fell like an old geezer back in May and busted my face open. Since then I get a black eye when I sleep on my left side. So I went and got an MRI, but the stupid MRI company wouldn't send the results over to the Dr so over a week and a half later I am sitting there at the office with nothing to talk about for a followup.

So I went down to the MRI place meaning to jerk someone through a keyhole and they don't have results there, they have them downtown. So I drive downtown, chew out the lazy fat heifer that should have sent the results over a week ago, and drive 45 minutes back to the Dr. to get my results.

Only to find out I need to go see a specialist on bones. Lovely.

On the plus side, I've got a line on joining the PSD club again! A good looking red 99 came up for sale. A little out of my price range, but give me a month or so and if it's still for sale it'll be my new front lawn decoration! Woohoo!

But what is the real cost overall? A little more cash up front to save being nickle and dimed to death is a much better option in my book. JMO

That's up to the kids. We'll have to see. They're all a little older now but it's still 3 to 1 in favor of the girls.

I'd say it's a 50/50 shot!

So, is it a "boy?"
