When its supposed to be fall but yet, you sweat when taking a sh$@, theres got to be something wrong, and not internally.. Fall shouldnt be sunny with high of, dont forget your sunscreen and winter is no different then, clear with a chance of cloudiness but overall enjoy the high 70s...over it. Guess im getn old and wanting a forest view with a lake/stream to fish in, butted to my meadow of a yard with natures' animals run'n a muck...Idaho?

Idaho's great, but have you seen the prices since every buddy is leaving this state. Just like Orange county a few years ago.

2 and a quarter will get me what i want, Chet...i do hear you. Many of my Beaumont customers(seniors) flew the coop over the past year because of pricing, taxes..etc sold and most hit Texas. I got a daughter that chose me over her mother, to live with. Said, ill do what it takes to stay here til you graduate. Got 3yrs left. Even thiugh times are different(teenager thinking we dont no anything), from daddy girl to Tim, got 10 bucks..lol, she still my pumpkin...However!, grafes aint up to par then, bullhead here we come. Her mom just up in Vegas so choose wisely. Few yrs driving then cadh out and sell Bullhead to hit Idaho...whole ordeal gives reason to convert to 4x4

What part were you thinking about? Just had some friends and family go to Star and Eagle. It's like orange county is some parts but nice. On the low end area's with small lots just under $300K. I always wanted at least ten acres, but would settle for 3 to 5. I really like Afton, Wyoming. Been going there hunting for at least 35 years. Even that town is going fast. Just to many people leaving California. Just had a friend from the post 328 here in Norco move to Bullhead last weekend. Wife finely told him it was time. I'm glad about your daughter, she made a good choice. Wish you guys many years of happiness. Lost my daughter April 29, 2015. Kids should never go before there parents. Not a day goes bye I don't think about her. God bless Tim,

Chet

Chet, my daughter is only 7. It is odd and I am going to get a little personal here, but I used to have nightmares about something happening to her...to the point I had to go talk to someone about it. Funny thing is, I am not a worrier, but her coming into our lives changed everything. That being said, I am sorry to hear about your loss. I cannot imagine how hard that is. I mean, I have an idea, but no experience with it. I wish you healing through the process. I imagine it's something you never get over.

That sounds about perfect. As long as there is a breeze. My biggest problem with the summer around here is there seems to be little or no wind unless there is a storm coming through. I miss the tradewinds badly.

Bryon, thank you. It's very hard. When she was three or so, I came home from work and the wife said, Darla, my daughter, came in the house and said she had thanked to God. Now if that didn't scare you nothing does. I mean, I am a strong believer but at that age Darla was not exposed to that. What I'm saying, I don't think she even new about God at that point. I just didn't want the lord to take her from me at such a young age. Well, just before her 42 Birthday is when she passed. Still a parent, at least me, doesn't get over this. Sorry guys, I had to vent. Me and her mom love her very much. God bless,

Chet

Had another day in the high country. This is near Berthoud Pass.

Had plans to do my bushings this weekend, but my wifes 2002 Sequoia changed those plans. Looks like it's time to tear down the front, replace the water pump and timing belt. Might as well do a few other things while I'm there. This may take me some time and we're shopping for a "new" car. Also had to head up to a hay auction and see if I could find any deals, that didn't pan out either.

"replace the water pump and timing belt."

After needing to replace the timing belt on a couple of rigs in the past I won't own a vehicle with a belt. Just an unwanted hassle for me.

Well, sounds like you guys are having fun like me.

She's a beaut Clark. Driver's side ball joints and tie rod, then she'll be done. Took me 65 minutes to get it all apart. Not too bad I don't think.
