Last of old platform or first of new platform

I am looking at buying an explorer within the next year or so. Do you think it would be best to buy a 2018, the last on the old platform, or wait and buy a 2019, the first on the new platform? Also will the 2018 have the 360 camera, it does not look like it will from what I have been reading?

You know what they say about buying ANYTHING in it's first year! Ford likes their customers to be their beta testers.

Just picked up a 2017 since they had the 0%/72mo. financing. That's like 6 years same as cash!

I just saw on Ford website the 2018's do offer the front camera. And I agree, not buying the newest model, I'd rather wait 2-3 years into a model change to work out any issues. I love the 2017 Superduties but I'm going to hold off a couple of years to trade in the 2012.
