1966 F-250 custom wheels
to say the least, the options for custom wheels on a 1966 F-250 seem to be just this side of non-existent everywhere I look. F-100s? Sure...the choices abound. F-250? So far I've come up with a big zero. I'd even be ok with modern day factory Super Duty wheels...but from what I can tell, those aren't an option.
Am I missing something? suggestions welcome because where I stand now, I have some sort of weird aftermarket hubcaps that...well, frankly aren't very attractive.

I prefer stock looking wheels myself, but they are simply an 8 lug on 6.5 inch bolt pattern. Very common wheels in the aftermarket. Depends on what you are after I suppose. Les Schwab or Discount Tire around here can get a ton of styles, offsets, widths and diameters in this bolt pattern. Here's some examples on google.com

Here's the ones I like to run on my F250s. These are a 16" x 6" Kelsey-Hayes 43552 rim with "innie" style mounts for the caps.

F250's thru 1966 have "innie" wheels, as do some 1967/69 F250/350. Some 1967/69 F250/350 and 1970/97 F250/350 have "outie" wheels.
Innie: So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.
Outie: So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.

Both Ford on the vans, and Dodge on the 3/4 and tonner models, kept the 8 x 6.5”’pattern pretty sure through to the present time. Or almost the present without looking it up. Like Chad said, Fords and Dodges for a lot of their history shared wheels. The Dodges are great donors for our big trucks having the 5 x 8” pattern because Dodge (like IHC) never used widowmaker rims. Stu
