Thinking about a full flip, only have a half now
Starting to get cooler around here so I've been playing around with the truck this weekend, swapped the wheels to some stock hubcaps, fixed a bad wire in the column so now I have turn signals again and added a coolant overflow tank so it doesn't puke overflow on the drive way now.
So, I already did a half flip on the rear and have 2" lowering shackles. I cut about 1.5" of coil off the front, tires lean in a little and I need to get it aligned but it drives ok for now.
So as I'm looking at it and deciding to tear into the sticking tailgate latch, I start to think about moving the hanger up a bit for a full lip and lower it about 3 more inches. I don't want to cut anymore off the coils so I'd need to get a set of dream beams and then maybe put a stock set of springs back in if it sits to low then. Did some pic mock up and thought I'd share my thoughts.
thanks guys,
This is today
Thinking of this by moving the rear flip to a full and dream beams or trimming the coil another turn (probably dream beam, but I'll also probably tirm the coil first and make sure I like it before dropping money on a set of beams).

Heres my 76 sitting with djm beams and shvkles in the rear, truck has 4 leafs out back and stock coils in the fromt. Probably sutting higher than yours is now. Even with only 200-300pbs of stuff in the back it will sit on the bump stops, if you go full flip id imagine youd need a c notch in the frame.
