Valare or Mustang II suspension?
I built my pro streeted 55 F-100 before kids came along. Kids are grown-up and gone now so it's time to upgrade this truck. I have already decided to redo the back half and install a four link, add FiTech dual carbs, March type serpentine for the Cleveland and add a 4R70W.
Truck has a valare front suspension I put in some 20 yrs ago. If you all were redoing this truck which front suspension would you go with and why? Thanks Ford fans!

If it's working well and does not need a rebuild, I would stick with the Volare only because it is already installed. Removing one to replace with MII has been done (talk to John Niolon) but it's not a piece of cake. However, if you find the ride too mushy based on the other changes you want to make, then go with the MII. If you were starting from scratch, I'd suggest the MII since torsion bar suspension is older technology and parts may not be available forever.
