TOYO RT w/OVER 15,000 MILE REVIEWS

Leaning toward Toyo MT or RT but wondering what kind of luck people have had with the new RT long term mileage wise.

I've got right at 45,000 miles on my Toyo RTs right now and they should go quite a bit longer. I siped them down the middle for my winter travels this past fall.

I tow a 32' 5th wheel half a dozen times a year. I tow various small trailers throughout the year, mostly short distances. Last tow with the 5th wheel was through the Colorado Rockies. These RTs have a 3860lb weight rating.

I run 37x12.50 nitto ridge grapplers, which share the same carcass and rubber compound as the Toyo R/t. The tread pattern is different, and I happen to prefer the style of the nitto's. I've got almost 6k on them, and can tell you they are incredibly smooth for a big tire. They are wearing perfect. Very impressed with every aspect of them so far. I suspect the R/T's would be the same.

Well had looked at the Ridge Grappler before but leaned towards the RT due mileage warranty. The load specs on Ridge Grappler are higher than RT on most sizes but no mileage warr. Which makes no sense since they're cousins.

But then there is still the Toyo MT in 295 65 20. Same price at tire shop I'm using. Had good luck towing with Nitto Trails just not the longevity I had hoped for.
