Door Glass Question?

I ordered new rear and side glass from Auto City. The rear glass is close enough to the original Car Lite to work OK. The side glass is dimensionally identical to the originals with the exception of the thickness. The original Car Lite glass is .180 thick while the replacement is .230 thick. Have any of you used the thicker glass with new division bars an felts? I am a little concerned it might be too tight of a fit. And I know what a PITA it is to get all this stuff in an out of the doors. I really don't want to do it twice.
Also I checked with LMC, they didn't know how thick their glass was. I checked with NPD and they gave me their suppliers number and their glass is .230 thick.

The NAGS (National Auto Glass Society) number for the tempered door glass is 4327T (specify clear or tinted).

The tempered back glass NAGS# is 1052T (specify clear or tinted).

NAGS numbers are what auto glass shops go by.

All the glass for the doors and cab are the same: 1961/66 F100/1100; 1963/69 N/NT500/1000 & 1967/69 F800/1000 because all these trucks used the same basic cabs.

I have a set of original door glass if interested.
Would need to verify condition.
Can send images if you like.

Thanks ND. When NPD gave me the number to call they said to tell them the part number was 4327T-C which I did. And guy said it was .220 to .230 thick. I don't mind using it if the window will work correctly, but I don't want to have to use both hands to roll the window up.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. I have 5 originals here but they all have issues.. I was hoping to start out with zero scratches some how a scratch in a glass just bothers me a lot.

The Carlite door glass in my '66 measures .20". My spare window glass - with no markings - measures .24". The latter moves fine in the parts door, and the glass runs are in pretty good shape.

0.050 is not a huge difference for glass fitment of a moving window , the felt in the tracks should easily compensate for that . I'm sure back then Ford had a tolerance spec for that as well since they have a tolerance spec for everything else .
