2001 To do list
2001 XLT 5.4L, bought new with 8 miles on Odometer. Now has 375,000. Just had upper and lower ball joints installed with alignment and sway bar links and bushings replaced.
To Do list:
1. Strange clunking noise that happens only one time on a trip. Sounds like metal on metal scraping, but everything looks fine. Original Air ride bags still hold air and no Suspension light. All looks tight on right rear wheel where clunking is heard. Sounds lasts about 5 - 10 seconds then quiet the rest of the trip.
2. Fan switch wiring harness under the dash has a short somewhere.
3. Rear wiper feels like its stripped. it is non-functioning from the switch at steering wheel.

Parking brake shoes came apart and ruined the rotor and pads. I replaced the parking brake shoes, parking brake kit, both rear rotors and both rear brake pads. $170 at O'Reilly Auto Parts.
The fan blower wiring harness was a simple fix. Attached the loose wire from the switch to the harness and all is well.
Still wondering about the rear wiper job.
