E40D to ZF5

E40D to ZF5
I have a 1997 7.3 crew cab long box that I'm wanting to put a zf5 in. I have a 92 7.3 parts truck so just wondering what all I can and can't swap over and do's and don'ts. Thanks in advance.

I swapped my 97 from a e4od to the zf5. My donor truck was a 93 7.3. I used the tranny, pedals, clutch slave and master. Crossmember, wiring harness, floor pan.
Pretty much every thing except for the flywheel and clutch kit.
I also used the transfer case from the 97
Also had to have my front drivehaft shortened by 5 3/8 inches and rear one lengthened the same amout. The zf is 5 3/8 inches shorter than the e4od.
