Anyone know where to buy just the metal tab ( the one that always falls out and you got to fish it with a magnet out of door?) I was able to recover my driver side one when I took the door apart, but the passenger side one got lost. Ford wants 30 dollars and only sells the entire inside side view mirror panel with that tab ( front 1/4 panel, the interior trim piece that is in the same spot as the mirrors? not sure its official name. )

any ideas or a part number I can look up?

Here ya go. sorry. should of done it at first, but not a fan of how many steps we have to take in 2022 to upload pics to a forum :P ( not the forum issue, but getting it from phone to desktop to image host to forum. )

 

Our ford paets guys were always complaining that parts like that come dash S100
xxxzzz-S100 meaning they had to buy a bag of 100 to sell us one
So they would do what they told you
Order the panel that comes with a clip
I will see if my ford parts buddies say the same thing and report back
