Rear Window - Privacy Glass Window order ????'s

Finished up building my F350 XL Super Cab and started pricing around at dealers. Some dealers are saying I have to add the rear window defroster when ordering this specific option. When I complete all my options on the Ford Site Builder is does not automatically add this to my spec sheet.

Anyone order the Privacy Glass without defroster? I just don't know if the dealer is just to lazy to correct this or if it's true. Thanks

All the documentation I have says the privacy glass (non-slider) includes the rear defroster when ordered with XL/STX and XLT.

Ok. Good to know. But when I go through the online builder and choose just the Rear Window - Privacy Glass for $30 it does not add the defroster. But if I choose the Rear Window - Fixed glass for $60 it comes with defroster and also automatically adds the Privacy Glass for $30. Maybe the site builder is not correct.

You may have a specific reason, but why not get the power sliding rear window? I almost didnt order it and decided to add it to my order at the last minute. Im sooo glad I did because I noticed that when I have the door windows down, the cab can get a significant "buffeting" noise/sound, like a pressure buildup, it can be hard on the ear drums. When I open that rear slider, all of that goes away. I really recommend the rear slider.

Agree 100%. The power sliding window is worth the extra money...
