So here is the question for everyone. Do we want a large meet?

Because of the low traction on the last meet planning I am thinking about a
second try at this idea. I think if this is planned now people will have a better
chance of getting there plans setup so we don;t have all the issues with other
plans.

So how about the mid-end of July 2018?
The place much have room for over nighters and a camp fire.
I would like a place that is easy for both the people that live in
Eastern Washington and Western Washington.

I think it would be a good idea to have solid plans by the end of September.

Will entertain, can't commit until I have a firm understanding of my next employment source.

Even a group where we were working on stuff would be cool for me too.

I'm a firm maybe. We are actually already planning a huge road trip next summer and don't know the details yet. But even without the trip, I'd be hard pressed to dedicate a day or two for a meet-up given my other family requirements during the summer.

I really do appreciate Sean trying to keep our WA community active and planning events. But honestly, it's just hard to bump FTE up in priority over my other responsibilities. Sorry I can't commit.

Well lets look at a way to make things work together.

That or some other time. I do need input on this.

So if you have an idea spill it. No sleeping on the job.

Mid July is right in the middle of my working season. In any case, that far out would be impossible to commit to as I rarely know what next week holds.

Good idea though. Definitely appreciate you keeping the effort in.

I still like the idea of meeting at an existing event/car show. If a couple people drive for a few hours to get there just to find only a couple of attendees, there's still something there to call the drive a win. Better chances of getting wives and kids willing to not schedule something over that time because they could care less about a couple dudes and their trucks.

I like idea of turning it into an overnight or even late night type event, but logistically that might be tough. Someplace like the Monroe Fairgrounds or Puyallup would be large enough for people to camp, but not sure they allow events/meets like this.

The existing car show may be a better option. Or heck, we could see if a local Ford Dealer wanted to sponsor something, or another car/truck place. I was a MINI club and we would meet at dealers, or places like Griot's Garage in Fife.

I like some of the suggestions - especially in conjunction with another car function - show or race. I'm not available until the middle of August due to my daughter's softball schedule and a family trip to London.

I see that too.
I had talked with Ed from FICMrepair and he thought that they could make it.
Also I know that IB in the past has had some stuff but will need to ask first.
