Good evening woodchucks. Back from camp. The RV is all set up, cleaned, fridge is full, etc. Back home this evening and got the TC back on the truck so we are ready to head to MA to babysit the grandkids this weekend. Getting the camper on the truck went really well - getting better with practice. One pass and done. There is no wiggle room between the wheel wells so you need to be perfectly lined up to make everything fit.
Lawns are mowed again. Now to go have a beer and call it a night. Hope you all made it over the hump without hurting yourselves.

I haven't pulled it out yet Shawn but will have to one way or the other. Beginning to think I have too high of a stall converter for this very stock motor. Had it out on the road today and it hooks up and shifts once it reaches the 2000 stall speed of the converter. Pressures are fine, hopefully changing out the converter will be the solution..

I'm not enough of a mechanic to know exactly what the options are but it sounds like a real PITA to have to drop the transmission or the converter after all the work you have put into getting it restored.

It certainly is a pain Shawn and at times gives me a real sick feeling in my stomach. The big problem is I'm no mechanic myself, can put things together and things would be better if I knew what was supposed to work with what the best. I let the tech guys guide me when ordering, they my have steered me wrong.
