1984 f250 air intrusion
Hey guys I am having hard time finding an air leak. I have or had all the rubber lines replaced from rear tank to the motor. front tank is no longer there. Have a facet electric pump that runs all the time on the frame to feed the mechanical pump. New oring kit. Only thing I haven't done yet is the Schrader valve. Any ideas? I can't even hardley drive the thing a mile with out it cutting out to the point of dieing. And have to bleed it back out. I found the sending unit was leaking from oring. On the tank pouring fuel out. I haven't got it back together yet.. but wouldn't think that would have caused it.

Check the sending unit for pin holes, also blow through it with compressed air to make sure it's not clogged.
Any time I use rubber lines I double hose clamp it just to be sure
You can also pick up a cheap fuel pressure gauge for 15$ and an install kit (lines and fittings) for 7$ at AutoZone or O'Reilly, mr.gasket will be the brand.
Hook it up to your filter housing and if you have low pressure you know it's the lift pump not sucking or sucking air which will rule out half of the system.
When you pull your sending unit out there's a 99% chance the little shower head will be gone/fallen off. You can just extend it with a piece of hose and cat a v in the bottom of it so it doesn't get stuck against the tank.
Since the shower head is probably missing make sure you have at least had a tank of fuel.
