I seem to have the opposite issue of others, in that my rear shackle lock bolt not only goes in all the way, but I bottom out on the threads. Think I have the wrong lock bolts somehow?

 

As supplemental info, the pins are NOS and the lock bolts are repros.

Do you have a lock washer under the nut?

 

Do you have any of the old lock pins?

I don't know that you have a problem, as long as the lock pin holds the pin firmly in place. Are the others like this?

 

Thanks guys for the responses. I did save the old ones and they are 5 thousands thicker which may be the issue. I am going to try one of the old ones tonight.
