3.03 rear output shaft seal
So we have a fixed yoke 3.03 trans in ourvrace car. We believe that its from a mid 70s longbed, originally with an fe. Unknown for certain.
Anyway, the thing leaks like the exxon Valdez. Main leak is the rear output shaft seal. It looks like webhave to pull the nut to remove the yoke. But before we break something, id like to ask for the actual service procedure. I couldn't seem to find anything on the fixed yoke oke 3.03.

The flange you reference is probably much the same as the flange on the C4 automatic in my '69 F100 Ranger.
If so, you'll need a 1-1/16" socket to remove the nut and a puller to remove the flange.
Old seal removed and the new seal installed. Put a thin layer of RTV on the outer portion of the metal shell of the seal, before installing the new seal. I would also apply a bead of RTV to the splines of the output shaft, just prior to installing the flange.
