Turn signal won't automatically stop after turn

All of a sudden, my turn signal won't stop automatically after making a turn. I read that the multi function lever needed to be replaced. I did, and nothing changed... Any idea what is wrong since its not the lever assembly itself?

When you say that you replaced the arm, did you remove the steering wheel and replace the internal mechanism? Usually, there is a plastic cam or ratcheting arm in there that breaks off.

I did not replace anything other than the arm/ multi function assembly. The whole time I was replacing it, I felt there was no way that it was going to fix the problem. I don't feel comfortable removing the steering wheel with the airbag.... It was only $26 dollars and I'll chalk it up as a lesson learned.

What year truck? I have an '11 and there was nothing to it. #3 bolts and the cover over the steering wheel pops off and separates. One more screw to pull the pedal adjustment switch, and one more drops the turn signal. I can honestly do it in 5 minutes. You can too.

It's a '11. I watched a couple videos and removing the steering wheel does look easy. However, I still can't see/ find what makes the lever "re-set" when turning. I hate to remove the wheel, do discovery, put back together waiting on parts, just to do it all again.

No need to remove the steering wheel itself just the steering column cover. It's a two piece cover and comes apart with a few screws. It can be done in a few minutes and you'll have access to all the column switches.

I have the covers off and have no idea what to look for. I have searched for hours looking for something online, and can't find anything helpful. I guess I'll have the dealer fix this when they are checking the other issues.
