Champion Radiator Question

Anybody ever use one of these or any other Champion radiator? I need a replacement for my 68 250 with a 360 and a C6. I would like to use the stock fan and shroud. Also plan to add AC. This is a 3 row rad.

That's the one I'm using. Working fine. Stock fan and shroud.

Got it installed this evening. The fit was perfect. The truck runs much cooler now.

Is it OK to use reg'ler green antifreeze coolant 50/50 with the aluminum radiators? Or do they want the fancy schmancy organic free range gluten free stuff?

This is from the Champion site FAQ page: "We recommend a 50/50 distilled water with antifreeze solution. If you're preparing your own solution it is imperative that distilled water is used as regular tap water will damage the radiator and void the Lifetime Warranty."

That sounds right. I remember they had some kind of warning right on the box.

I personally have been looking at this radiator because I like that it has the same looking form as the stock tank and not just aluminum sheets welded together. Has anyone used an KKS radiator?
