Ok, well i just bought a 1988 f250 4x4 with a 351w. I ohm tested the coil and it tested fine, confirmed power to the distributor and it was fine but still no power so i replaced the tfi module and still no power! Its driving me nuts! Could it be the pip?
Most likely the PIP. Unless the large wire going from the coil to the center of the distributor cap is bad. Have you looked at the rotor and also make sure the rotor turns when the engine does?
