I hope to be there, as a spectator though. I have made no progress on the '56 Panel that I was able to buy back after selling it 17 years ago. It looks like the wife and I will be staying at the Marriott nearest the HQ motel. I would like to meet other forum users. I will look for you Tacson. I enjoyed meeting you several years ago , I believe at the show in Lake Lure NC?
I wish someone would get that show going again. That was a nice location.
I will be easy to spot. I will be walking with a cane and stopping to rest frequently.

There is a Kroger grocery store within 5 minutes of the show and a Walmart about 10 minute drive right before you get to the show site. I can help with buying either water or Gatorade or ice. Just let me know.

 

 

BJ yes all but Saturday night. I couldn't find a room on site for Saturday.

 

We leave to come home Saturday afternoon
The event is over by 6PM

 

BJ I have a large Styrofoam cooler I can bring and leave as we have a few of then they are very thick and we used to use them on the MS 150 bike ride when we manned a rest area. Let me know if you want it and it is yours. I am ready to get going. Let me know if you want me to bring it.

 

I wish that I had been able to get my '56 panel on the road so we could drive it to this event. I have pretty much everything I need, parts wise. The plan is to swap the 500 Cadillac engine, 400 TH trans, and the Chrysler 8 3/4 rear from my totaled '56 truck into the panel. I will get enthused about it at the show and get started on it when we get home. Right now I'm busy trying to pass a kidney stone. I'm praying for good weather for the event.
