Announcing 2017 and 2018 All-Ford GTG's - Not Just FTE
This is to tell all Ford truck guru's about the get-together on September 16th this year at my place in Skiatook. It isn't just a Bullnose GTG nor an Okie GTG nor an FTE GTG. It is for all Ford truck gurus, regardless of year, location, or forum. If you need directions just PM me.
At this point I believe we'll have the following, and others are considering it:
In addition, I just got off the phone with Tim Meyer, who said he will not only bring the engine to Dad's truck to this year's get-together, but he'll also bring some of his other goodies, like the new Cleveland block.
If you can come please comment on here so I can ensure we have enough room. Thanks, and hope to see you!

- Chris/ctubutis from Denver
- David/1986F150Six from Alabama
- Bill/NumberDummy from CA
- Jonathan/Ford F834 from Arizona
- Luke/Luke76 from Kansas
- Eli/Smokenchoken from Kansas
- And whomever I've forgotten

Well, things are changing rapidly on the GTG front. Talked with a friend of my while we put a 1981 power steering bracket off Dad's truck on his 351M'd 1978 F100. He runs a welding supply house and had just re-welded my drawbar seriously - wow is he good. Anyway, here are the changes we've come up with:
- The actual GTG will be held at the Skiatook Church of Christ
- We will have a truck show. I know there's to be a 2017 SuperDuty there, and I can take my three. And Paul with his diesel'd Bullnose, and Cash with Carlos, and David with his '86, and....
- Welding: My friend will host a welding seminar, with welding demos, cutting demos and competition, and Miller is supposed to be there with things to show
- Tim Meyer will bring some goodies to show as well as tell people what his shop is all about and hold a Q&A
- We will have a swap meet, so bring your goodies to sell/swap
- My paint/body man will be there and maybe he can bring some of his work to show - in addition to Dad's truck
- And we may even have a concessions stand

Gary I couldn't make it but I sure hope you had a good turn out . With all of you guys talking up the 400 I think that I will keep it in my 55 f-100 with an fmx. I really wanted to make it to see whats going on. I am now looking for a four barrel manifold so that I can use the fuel injection and that is one of the questions that I had as in what is best .

Art - we missed you. Had a good turnout for the first year. As you know, Tim was there and brought my 400, which turned out 409 HP/498 ft-lbs with a Street Demon carb.
And the designer of Tim's intake manifolds was there - by the name of Gary. So I lobbied him for an EFI port-inject manifold. That's down the road, but I'd like to eventually EFI Dad's truck, but want to go with port injection rather than throttle body.
Anyway, plan on being here next year - Sept 15th. Tim will be back.
