Flatlander Truckfest Lives!
I just got back from Pere Marquette State Park. Popular Vacation Destination minutes from St. Louis, Mo
I reserved 27th & 28th of April 2018. Cabins have a queen and a sofa bed, Rooms are two queens all are 135.00 a night. If you want to stay longer they have Good availability the following week. I reserved 2 cabins and 10 rooms.
May is already booked and I was afraid any earlier in April might be pushing cold weather.
When you call for reservations tell them your with the FTE group. Please PM me when you make your reservations.

Just keeping this post alive.
Have been looking at things we can do: Budweiser Brewery tour, trip to the Arch, drive the EADs Bridge (post civil war. Construction), St. Louis Zoo, day trip to Missouri’s 1st State Capital, St Charles (Casinos), Alton (just down the river road) has antique shopping and a Casino too. A bit longer trip, 70 miles up the Mississippi, is Hannibal MO, Mark Twains ole stomping grounds. I thought a Ferry ride across the Illinois or Mississippi River might be fun but it’s up to you all.
Not sure what everyone would like to do. Thought?

There was some interest in folks staying longer. The Hotel says they can accommodate. There’s a lot to do here in St Louis but I wanted to keep the “get together” a weekend so folks didn’t have to take off work. I live here so barring my wife’s cancer preventing it I’ll be available if folks want to stay longer and want to see more of St Louis. I wanted to try to get us parked with the Arch in the back ground but they’ve remodeled and I don’t think we can get between it and the Mississippi River now.
