Anyone have any experience with any of the aftermarket parking sensor replacements?
Have a 2004 Excursion and only need to replace one
Aftermarket 20 bucks ish
OEM 125 dollars.
Big difference but will buy oem if the aftermarkets are junk.

 

Replaced all 4 of mine with chicom ones a few years ago. They function correctly but Can't say how long they will last. so far so good.

Installation wise, on mine I had to razor blade of a small nub to make it fit correctly. No big deal.

 

I purchased 10 pair for the price of one stock like 3-4 years ago. I only needed one. So far the one I replaced is working fine. It was a made in china item. Some how by putting in part number I got some site. Still have a bunch

 

Backup sensors were not working for a while. Finally found out which sensor wasn't working when I scanned the computer. Replaced that sensor with aftermarket from Amazon. That particular sensor doesn't work...but the other sensors work now. Not sure what's up with that. Hasn't bothered me enough to mess with it yet.
